Description

For over 30 years Bailey Helicopters has been recognized as one of Western Canada’s leading helicopter companies.  Bailey is currently operating 18 helicopters throughout our 3 base locations in British Columbia.  We are seeking a Supervisor, for our Operational Control Centre (OCC) to add to our growing team.

As an OCC Supervisor you will provide exceptional service to both internal personnel and external clients and will be responsible for directly monitoring, identifying, planning, and coordinating the movement of our helicopters and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Actively support and participate in the Company Safety Management System (SMS) program.
  • Supervision and scheduling of our exceptional ground crew.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Management team to dispatch aircraft and aircrew.
  • Flight following and monitor progress of ALL company flights.
  • Confirmation of booking details with clients and pilots, updating all information as required.
  • Ensure client requirements and standards are met.
  • Provide aircraft quotes in consultation with the Senior Management team.
  • Track and maintain company documentation.
  • Provide support to our Company and Client field staff.
  • Manage and maintain operational equipment.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all company aircraft and equipment limitations.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Grade 12 education: additional post-secondary education an asset
  • Previous experience in dispatch or similar role an asset.
  • Valid Air Operator Radio License considered an asset.
  • Customer service focused, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical, organized, and able to problem solve, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience using MS Office, and an aptitude for learning various computer systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.
  • Maintain a high standard of conduct, be respectful of clients, visitors, co-workers, and managers.
